I grew up on the East coast of America. I was born in Boston MA and have lived in Atlanta GA and several cities near Miami FL. All of my grandparents were born in Ireland and three of them emigrated to Boston which is a city famous for Irish inhabitants in America. I am second generation American. In Japanese second generation translates as Nisei.

The name Ahern is Irish. Bertie Ahern, the current prime minister of Ireland, has the same last name. The original language of Ireland is Gaelic. In Gaelic Ahern means "Lord of the horse." In Japanese Ahern is pronouced as A-Ha-N which is a Japanese word that means "sexy".

I enjoy teaching English to students of all ages and levels. I have taught more than 10,000 students so far and look forward to teaching many more in the years to come. I employ teachers who enjoy their work. If you are looking to improve your English we want to help. The information on this site is free and will be updated regularly.
